Grace Schalkwyk
Interim CEO
Grace Schalkwyk is a senior operating executive in information services with
a 27-year professional career spanning financial services, investment information
and financial technologies. Most recently she was Senior Vice President, Publisher
of Standard & Poor's credit ratings and research business, growing it from
$50m to $200m in revenue over 8 years and transforming it from a marginal,
backwater business to a major contributor to S&P. Prior to S&P she served as Chief Financial Officer of Artnet.com AG, which had just gone public on the Frankfurt stock exchange, and Vice President, Business Development for Reuters America where she performed corporate strategy and internal M&A functions.
She began her professional career as an investment banker at Credit Suisse First Boston, where over 12 years she executed 100 transactions in 30 industries including IPOs, debt and equity offerings, project financings, acquisitions and divestitures. Grace currently works with private equity firms to identify opportunities in the financial information and technology sector.
